ABOUT US- Fred's Train Shop sells new, used and vintage trains in all scales from Z to G. Our brick & mortar storefront is located in the heart of historic downtown Overland Park. We offer products from a wide variety of manufacturers as well as an extensive scenery line. In addition to our new products we also have a nice selection of vintage trains from Lionel postwar/prewar, American Flyer postwar/prewar, Marx, Marklin, LGB, various HO & N brands as well as railroad memorabilia like vintage timetables, ticket passes, books, tools, etc. and even some vintage toys & plastic models. We offer repair service for new & vintage trains in all scale Z through G. We also offer custom work, train layout building and restoration services through Mini-Things Scale Models listed below
DIRECTIONS
- From I-70 West or East - take 635 south (635 becomes Metcalf Ave.) to 80th St. Go west 2 1/2 blocks. We're on the south side of the street. You can also take 435 South to Metcalf then north to 80th St.
- From I-35 take Metcalf to 80th St. Go west 2 1/2 blocks. We're on the south side of the street.
- From 435 South take Metcalf north to 80th St. Go west 2 1/2 blocks. We're on the south side of the street.
ORDERING INFO- If you live outside the Kansas City area & would like to make a purchase please call for availability and shipping info. We do not offer on-line ordering due to frequently changing inventory from walk-in business. Payment can processed via credit/debit card over the phone.
